So, Its time for me to do my part to not spend all our money. What will I do?

Im going to run Debian on my Omnibook 900b. I'll run open offica and be a happy person.:)

Well kinda, I know enough about Linux to know I might need to do stuff as SU, My wireless card might not work, I'll need to eat cheetos.. all kinda stuff.

I did it last week. I installed Debian using the min CD intrnet instal. It was easy, but not as easy as slax. Am I bad for wanting to have slax resident on my laptol. The guy that made it dosen't want me to do it.and now I need to figure out how to make the WPC54GV2 work. I used synaptic to install wireless-tools and iwconfig wount show the WPC54GV2 but it will show my old lucent Orinoco 11 GOLD. Funny that. So, I can really figure out how to get it to use my wireless router, but when i was in gilroy it found a an open node. First thing. If you have any insight, let me know
